透過閱讀英國文學經典作品學習批判思考的能力。

上課之前,我會 email 摘要與閱讀問題給大家,請確認 MOODLE 上的 email 是可用的。
上課當天的活動依序如下:
(一) 問問題時間,可針對當週閱讀進度提出問題。
(二) 半個小時的小考時間。
(三) 課堂討論。

四、評量方式 Grading criteria:
Weekly Quizzes		30%
Mid-term Exam		30%
Final Exam	    	30%
Participation	    	10%*
* 10% 的課堂參與成績根據發言卡上的登記次數計算,發言一次算一分,一學期發言10次者,課堂參與成績可得12分,超過的同學再另行獎勵。

Course Policy:
1.	Attendance is mandatory.  Up to TWO unexcused absences are permitted, and a further absence will result in the deduction of FIVE points from your final grade.

2.	Attending the class without the required text will also result in the deduction of 5 points from your final grade.

3.	THREE tardies will be counted as ONE absence.
