學期別: 1001 課程名稱: 0400050 西洋文學概論(上) 一、課程目標Course objectives: This course provides a critical introduction to the sources and evolution of Western Literature. This semester we will read passages from major works, including classical epic, drama, and prose, and the Bible. We will also discuss how to do close, critical reading. The goal of the course is to provide students with a basic understanding of Western literature and culture and a foundation for required literature courses in the second and third years of the department's curriculum. 二、師生晤談時間及地點Instructor office hours: Tuesday 1-3 三、授課方式Teaching approach: Course activities will includes lectures, weekly reading assignments, weekly quizzes on the readings, one group presentation and supplementary audio visual materials.
